pictured: the view from a trail in Valley Center, CA, overlooking Horsethief Canyon, on Rincon land. I grew up nearby, and am currently living here and it is very pretty. J.J. Cale also used to live here, and released an album called “The Road To Escondido”, which was titled after Valley Center Road. Click here to listen to “In Our Time”, the best J.J. Cale song.
